MECHANICAL JR. ENGINEER - HVAC

Currently we are seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer for HVAC design.

As a member of a small company, all engineers are involved in their projects from beginning to end, enabling them to rapidly gain a broad range of skills and knowledge that is impossible to obtain at a much larger company. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level engineer as this company is one of the most well-regarded MEP Consulting Firms in the area, completing a large volume of work with plans for growth. Our office is located in Rye, NY convenient to Metro North and major highways.

Qualifications:

- BS or BE in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an ABET accredited program (or expected graduation Spring 2020)

- Experience via internships or jobs in the MEP design field is a strong plus

- Experience in construction (any trade) is a strong plus

- Familiarity with AutoCAD

- Familiarity with Revit is a strong plus

- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

- Ability to interface with construction industry professionals with professionalism and credibility

- Fluent in English (speaking/writing) with excellent communication skills.

- Willingness to learn proactively

Responsibilities:

- Design of HVAC Systems

- Revit modeling

- Assist senior engineers with calculations etc.

- Occasional design of other MEP systems (Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical)
